 RICHARD A. AKSAMIT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

We have established a scholarship in the amount of $1000. To qualify for this scholarship the applicant must be a high school senior attending one of the accredited high schools in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

The decision to award a scholarship to any particular applicant will be based on the financial need of the applicant, high school grades and recommendations of educators from the applicant’s school. Only seniors that are pursuing a course of study in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or Fire Science at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in Nebraska will be considered.

Applicants must complete an official Capitol City Footprinters application form.

Applications must be postmarked no later than March 01, 2010 as the scholarship will be awarded in April 2010.

POST-SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIP

This is a $1000 scholarship for any Nebraska resident who is majoring in Criminal Justice or Fire Science at an accredited Nebraska institution of higher education and pursuing an associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degree. The applicant must have completed at least two semesters of study to be eligible. (Student currently enrolled in their second semester of study may apply)

Applicants must complete an official Capitol City Footprinters application form.

Applications must be postmarked  no later than March 01, 2010 as the scholarship will be awarded in April 2010.
